What deleting removes

Everything stored under your account, immediately and for good:

• your account and sign-in — username and password hash, or your Google id and email address — and every device signed into it is signed out
• your saved words, review schedule, streak and study history
• your settings, display name and profile picture
• the list of dictionary words you opened while signed in

Nothing of this is kept afterwards and nothing can be restored, so download a copy first if you want one — in the app, Me → Privacy → Download my data.

Two things are not on this list. A forgotten-password request you sent is kept until we remove it — email us and we will. And deleting here does not reach your phone: the copy on it stays there until you uninstall the app. Deleting from inside the app clears the phone as well. Your voice is never stored on our server, so there are no recordings to delete.

Delete it now

Sign in with the account you want deleted. There is no confirmation step after this — the account is gone when the button finishes.

If you signed in with Google

A Google account has no password here, so this form cannot check it is you. Delete it from inside the app instead — Me → Privacy → Delete account — which removes exactly the same things.

If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the Google address on the account and we will delete it within 30 days.
